Following the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas for the Exchange of Information relating to Tax Matters in Nassau, Bahamas on 25 June 2015, the Indonesian Government has issued Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas for the Exchange of Information relating to Tax Matters through Presidential Regulation number 29 of 2019 dated 8 May 2019.

This Presidential Regulation applies as the legal basis for exchange of information relating to tax matters for the purpose of prevention of tax avoidance or evasion in the two countries, and came into force on 9 May 2019.
