The Indonesia Tax Office (”ITO”) has issued announcement number PENG-19/PJ.09/2023 dated August 29, 2023 regarding provision of Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) matching services. This announcement became effective on August 29, 2023. This announcement provides information on NPWP matching services that can be used by taxpayers and their conditions.

The announcement contains conditions for providing NPWP matching services electronically, directly, or through Tax Application Service providers. It also provides information about the websites for accessing matching services, which are https://pajak.go.id/ and https://portalnpwp.pajak.go.id/. Furthermore, it was announced that matching services are provided to specific parties until the implementation of NPWP in 16-digit format nationally.
